What to Pack:
Essentials

•  Team swim suit
•  Swim cap
•  Goggles
•  Towels
•  Sunscreen, for daytime meets
•  Nutritious snacks, and plenty to drink
•  A waterproof or permanent marker with which to write event info on swimmers' forearms
•  Coaches' contact info for delays or emergencies:

Consider bringing:

•  Chairs or a blanket to sit on
•  Spending money for concessions
•  Books, games or toys for entertainment between events
•  Insect repellent (some meet locations are wooded)
•  A swim cover-up
•  Umbrellas or ponchos for non-swimmers in case of rain
•  Iced towels, spray bottles of water, or sunshades during severe summer heat
•  Sunglasses, a visor, or a hat
